1. Scope

This disclaimer applies to the YouTube Turbo Downloader browser extension (the “extension”), its optional server features and this website, all provided by AWHADI (the “developer”). By installing or using the extension you confirm that you have read and understood it. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension. It supplements the terms of use and the privacy policy.

2. Lawful use only

The extension is a tool. What you do with it is your decision and your responsibility. You must use it only in accordance with the laws that apply to you, including the copyright, data protection and computer laws of your country and of the country in which you are located. The rules on copies for private use differ from country to country, and in many places copying protected content is permitted only in narrow cases or not at all.

Use the extension only for content that

• you own or have created yourself,
• is in the public domain or is licensed for copying and reuse (for example under a Creative Commons licence, and then only under that licence’s conditions),
• you have the express permission of the rights holder to save, or
• the law of your country expressly allows you to copy for the purpose you have in mind.

You must not use the extension to infringe copyright or other rights, to circumvent access restrictions, technical protection measures or paid content, or to publish, sell or redistribute content without permission. You are also responsible for complying with the terms of service of every website and service you use, including YouTube’s Terms of Service, which may restrict downloading. Whether a particular download is lawful is for you to find out before you start; if you are unsure, do not download, or seek legal advice.

3. No warranty

The extension and everything that comes with it are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer gives no warranty and makes no guarantee of any kind, express or implied, including that the extension

• will work, or keep working, with any particular video, website, browser or browser version,
• will be available without interruption, free of errors, delays or security vulnerabilities,
• will produce files that are complete, accurate, of a given quality or suitable for a particular purpose, or
• will keep working when YouTube or your browser changes, which they do without notice.

Optional server features, such as secure verification, are offered on a best-effort basis and may change, be limited or be withdrawn at any time without notice or compensation.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from the installation, use or inability to use the extension or this website. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special and consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profit, claims or demands made by third parties (including rights holders and YouTube or Google), restrictions placed on your account, device or network address, and the consequences of any use of downloaded content.

You use the extension at your own risk. You are solely responsible for what you download, how you store it and what you do with it. To the extent the law allows, you agree to bear the consequences of any use of the extension that breaches the law or the rights of others, and not to hold the developer responsible for them.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or under mandatory product liability or consumer protection rules. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

5. Independence and trademarks

YouTube Turbo Downloader is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to YouTube or Google LLC. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. All other names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what the extension works with.

6. Third-party content and links

The developer has no control over the videos, audio and other content you can reach with the extension and does not host, store or select it. The developer is not responsible for third-party content, websites or services, or for how they change.

This disclaimer is general information and does not take your personal circumstances into account. It is not legal advice. If you need to know what is allowed in your situation, ask a lawyer in your country.
